👨‍🍳 Cooking Steps

Step 1: Scoop out the abalone meat and wash it (abalone is very dirty, so be sure to wash it carefully)

Step 2: Make a few gentle cuts, add some cooking wine, and marinate with pepper for a while. The abalone fish is still quite fishy, so I marinated it for half an hour. There is no need to add salt. The subsequent soups are all made from oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, and light soy sauce. Adding salt will make it salty. King oyster mushrooms are also cut flowers. I forgot to take pictures of king oyster mushrooms.

Step 3: Get a bowl and put dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar. The specific amount to put depends on the amount of abalone and personal taste. The spoons I usually use for soup at home, I put 1 and a half spoons of oyster sauce, 1 spoon of dark soy sauce, 2 spoons of light soy sauce, and 1 and a half spoons of sugar. Mix with some water.

Step 4: Put water in the pot, add a piece of ginger, add the abalone after the water boils, and then add some cooking wine. After boiling, take out the abalone, then put the king oyster mushrooms in and cook them out. This becomes abalone juice! If possible, it would be better to put a few cheers.

Step 5: Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to water and mix thoroughly.

Step 6: Put the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, etc. that you just mixed thoroughly into the abalone sauce, and adjust it according to your own taste.

Step 7: Add abalone and king oyster mushrooms, then cornstarchwater. Cornstarchwater recommends adding half and half, depending on your preferred consistency. Then turn off the heat and serve!

Step 8: Get some vegetables in the refrigerator and decorate them, place them on the plate, take photos, post them on WeChat, and the style will come, hee hee😁

💡 Pro Tips

  1. My abalone is relatively small, so it feels chewy after being cooked for a long time. For big abalone, it only takes 3 minutes to cook it in water. If it is overcooked, good ingredients will be wasted. 2. You can also add some abalone juice sold in supermarkets. 3. The amount of all seasonings should be adjusted according to the amount of ingredients and your own taste.
